Senior IRA Specialist
Summary Description
Successfully performs vital functions within Deposit Operations--IRA Department.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for maintaining current regulations to ensure procedures are up-to-date in accordance with government regulations
- Monitor compliance on all IRA transactions for proper coding and reporting. Report/Resolve exceptions. (Includes but not limited to: Interest Rates, Contributions, Excess Contributions, Distributions, Mandatory Distributions, Withholding, Penalties, Transfers, Rollovers, and Re-characterizations)
- Perform quality control review of IRA documents to ensure new accounts are properly set up
- Respond and resolve questions from the branch network regarding IRA accounts
- Meet customer service level agreements with the branch network in regard to the online requests
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities perform the essential functions

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years or more of IRA Experience/IRA Certifications
- Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Typically the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending, and carrying light items in the course of the work
Critical Skills / Expertise
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Excellent customer service skills
