Senior Financial Accountant
Reports to: CFO |
Location: Bruceton Mills, WV
Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the preparation of monthly financial documents, develop and maintain department budgets and generate cost reports. Also responsible for collecting pertinent information for third party audits.
Accountabilities:
• Responsible for the integrity of general ledger
• Maintains the bank’s depreciation schedules
• Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries to the general ledger.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly management and staffing reports
• Monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts.
• Assists with documentation and preparation of regulatory reports.
• Will help coordinate special projects for support of all departments within the bank
• Supports the annual process as it relates to external auditors, internal auditors, and bank examiners.
