Operations Officer
First Neighborhood Bank is seeking an Operations Officer who will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.
  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly.
  • Develop and maintain office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately. 
  • Assist customers and staff with operational questions and/or concerns.
  • Oversees all aspects of the new account area, including opening, account maintenance, training, and supervising new account area.
  • Adheres to all bank and regulatory requirements and participates in required training.
  • Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the Bank’s Information Security Program.
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to Senior Management.
  • Training, communication, and development of the office staff.
  • Inputs time corrections, paid time off requests, and approves time sheets for assigned department.
  • Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
  • Performs other related duties as required. 
  • Requires a college degree and 3+ years of experience in banking, bank operations or supervision and/or management of departmental operational functions. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate in a team atmosphere.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. 
  • Multi-tasked oriented and possess good organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel between offices as necessary.

Compensation is based on experience.
