Fiduciary Investment Advisor
MCNB Banks is looking for a trust and investment advisor to serve as the relationship manager for trust and investment customers. These relationships may consist of estates, trust, investment management, and IRA accounts. If you are looking for a rewarding place to work, please review the list of qualifications below.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to discuss investment performance, economic, and financial market trends with customers.
- Manage customer relationships and meet with clients on an as needed basis, to review portfolio performance and present appropriate recommendations to address their continued needs.
- Actively seek and develop leads and referrals from current customers and other centers of influence.
- Prepare and present materials to prospective clients.
- Foster open communication with other Bank departments. Develop relationships with internal partners for cross referral opportunities.
- Engage in fiduciary decision making through account management of client trust accounts according to each of the legal document directives.
- Handle risk management and resolution of legal and compliance issues. Escalate issues or concerns as needed.
- Prepare or oversee regular account reviews for each account.
- Review performance of investments to insure proper investment allocations and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of five (5) years of financial sales, investment, or portfolio management experience preferred.
- Certified Trust and Financial Advisor certification (CTFA) certification desired.
- Certified Financial Planning certification desired.
- Demonstrated experience in effective account/relationship management required.
- Ability to present situations and resolutions effectively
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
