Schools & Conferences
Banking School
The WV School of Banking prepares bank employees with a broad and fundamental understanding of significant banking, economic and monetary issues, as well as a better understanding of the day-to-day banking operation. Since 1944, this two year program features a challenging curriculum taught by a faculty with both excellent teaching credentials and vast experience. Combined with lectures and home study assignments, the students participate in a bank simulation game, a tool for learning about financial institution management. This school is a must for bankers who consider banking their career choice!
The Lloyd P. Calvert Graduate School of Banking
To continue the quality education prior graduates of the WV School of Banking have received, this school provides a more challenging curriculum, as well as advanced bank simulation. This school also prepares career bankers for the upper level national graduate schools.

BSA/AML School
Regulatory reform means changes to many requirements, including those associated with BSA and OFAC, and there is no let-up for enforcement in sight. With new products, new access to the banking system and emerging payment alternatives, the challenge to BSA/AML compliance has never been greater. Bank security, fraud, red flags, and product vulnerability have seen a convergence with BSA/AML/SAR programs and investigations. In today’s difficult environment, with increased penalties and enforcement alongside reduced budgets and resources, the need for quality education and training has become even more critical.
This annual two-day school is designed for personnel who are responsible for BSA compliance, risk management, audit, operational and training responsibilities. Dates for the BSA/AML School will be announced. It is generally held in the Fall of each year.
