Bank Directory
The WVBA Bank Directory of West Virginia is a comprehensive resource listing the names, addresses, telephone numbers, correspondent relationship, branch officers and locations of banks operating in West Virginia. Also listed are WVBA officers and committee members, federal and state regulators, and elected officials. The directory is mailed out once a year. West Virginia Banker Magazine
The West Virginia Banker is the official trade journal for the WVBA and is the premier magazine for bankers and related professionals. It is published four times each year and includes articles on new developments within the banking industry, profiles and human interest features, a calendar of events, and a listing of promotions and staff changes.

Salary Survey
WVBA has partnered with Crowe Chizek Horwath to produce the West Virginia Financial Institutions Compensation Survey on a two year cycle. The survey instrument provides useful benchmarks of compensation for over 170 job positions. The survey includes salary information, benefits, director compensation and benefits, committee fees, etc., with breakdowns such as bank asset size, population, and internal state regions.
The next collection of data will begin during the month of March 2012. The final survey instrument will then be ready for distribution in late August. The data is also incorporated into separate Mid-West and U.S. Comprehensive Reports.
We encourage all member banks to participate. Greater participation provides a larger, more accurate data sample that results a valuable survey resource tool. Member banks who participate in the collection of data receive the West Virginia Report at deeply discounted rates. For further information contact Debbie Polen, dkpolen@wvbankers.org.
Records Retention Manual
The Operations Committee of the WVBA is responsible for ensuring the Records Retention Manual remains updated. Bowles Rice McDavid Graff & Love PLLC reviews the manual upon direction of the Committee, which is normally every two years. The manual is produced on a CD, which allows you to share with each department of your institution.

WVBA offers a variety of in-bank training materials for delivery by the bank’s trainer or a qualified staff member utilizing the American Institute of Banking (AIB) products. AIB’s textbooks, training manuals and reference materials cover a wide variety of subjects in banking and financial services.

Annually the WVBA compiles and distributes our electronic Associate Member Services Directory. This directory highlights both our endorsed partners and our Associate Members.
