GSB - Best Practices in Deposit Pricing
This is a 3-part GSB online seminar program with the second session on February 21 and the third session on February 28.
This session will contrast contractual characteristics as opposed to actual behavior of both CDs and non-maturity deposits, effective design of CD and NMD products, and factors affecting customer rate sensitivity. A variety of segmentation strategies will be introduced and discussed including creating barriers to entry with effective product design. Marginal cost will be used as a primary tool in the case situations covered in the session.
