CORRESPONDENCE PROGRAMS

AIB Correspondence Study Programs offer a flexible enrollment schedule, up to the minute training information and professional banking instruction making it one of the most effective ways to enhance your banking knowledge. When enrolling in an AIB correspondence course, the WVBA will provide the textbook for the course and a set of practical exercises to periodically complete and return for grading. Completing all the exercises, taking the final examination under the direction of a bank supervisor and receiving a passing grade qualifies the student for AIB credit. All courses receive 3 AIB credit hours except where noted.

Q. What is the AIB Correspondence Study Program?
A. It is a way for you to complete AIB courses any time of the year, on your schedule, without attending formal classes

Q. How long will it take to receive my course materials?
A. You will receive your course materials 15 to 20 days after WVBA receives your completed form.

Q. How long does it take to complete a Correspondence Study Program?
A. Six-months is the time given. One 3-month extension can be given via a written request and approval by and a $50.00 fee.

Q. How will I be notified when I have completed my AIB course?
A. You will receive a completion letter with your final grade within 14 days after your instructor grades your final exam.
