WVBA 115th Annual Convention
Plan now to attend the West Virginia Bankers Association 115th Annual Convention July 27-30, 2008 at The Greenbrier, White Sulphur Springs, WV.
A highlight of a few of our speakers include: Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, member of the House Financial Services Committee, WV Governor Joe Manchin; Jeffrey Gerrish, Gerrish McCreary Smith Consultants, LLC, and keynote presentations on Monday by Juval Aviv, international speaker on fraud and terrorism, and Dr. Ed Seifried, chief economist, m.rae resources, inc., a division of BNK Advisory Group, on Tuesday morning.
Additionally, we are excited to have Terry Fator, winner of 2007 America’s Got Talent, as entertainment for Tuesday closing night activities. Terry Fator is perhaps the first entertainer to combine the art of ventriloquism with celebrity impressions. His puppets, including Cowboy Walter, Emma Taylor and Winston the Impersonating Turtle, effortlessly perform the singing styles of an eclectic group of stars including: Tony Bennett, Elvis, Maroon Five, Garth Brooks, Nat King and Natalie Cole, Roy Orbison, Marvin Gaye, Gnarls Barkley, James Blunt, Brooks & Dunn, members of The Rat Pack, Louis Armstrong and even Kermit The Frog. This Dallas native, whose career has reached a whole new level since “America’s Got Talent” has been headlining at sold out shows nationwide.
From our Opening Welcome Reception on Sunday through Tuesday night’s Annual Banquet and Entertainment I am sure each of these events will permit you the luxury of relaxing and networking with your colleagues from around the state and the region. Please join us in commemorating another successful year.
